In the Kingdom, fruitfulness is not accidental—it is intentional. Every activity should be a seed sown toward a harvested goal. Yet many entrepreneurs, though busy, remain unproductive—simply because they never stop to ask:
“Which goal will this activity achieve?”
Before sending that email... Before taking that meeting... Before launching that product...
You must pause and ask: Is this moving me toward a God-assigned goal—or just keeping me busy?
“Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” – Psalm 90:12 KJV
“But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.” – Galatians 6:4 KJV
Too often, Kingdom Entrepreneurs fall into these traps:
- Attending meetings with no measurable outcome
- Launching offers that don’t support current business objectives
- Posting content without strategic alignment
- Taking on tasks that don’t align with your divine role as CEO
These may look productive—but they dilute your impact, burn your energy, and keep your calendar full while your mission remains stuck.
Here’s a simple Kingdom productivity filter to run every task through:
Ask: “Which Goal Will This Activity Achieve?”
If the activity doesn’t:
- Lead you toward a spiritual, financial, or operational target
- Strengthen your team or systems
- Grow your capacity to steward what God has given…
Then it’s not worth your time.
Ask. Evaluate. Eliminate.
1. Spiritual Goals
• Are you growing in your time with God?
• Are you leading your business by the Spirit?
Scripture: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God…” – Matthew 6:33
2. Operational Goals
• Is this helping improve team performance, systems, or delivery?
Scripture: “Let all things be done decently and in order.” – 1 Corinthians 14:40
3. Financial Goals
• Is this moving you toward revenue, profit, or margin targets?
Scripture: “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established…” – Proverbs 24:3-4
We recently worked with a CEO who was overwhelmed by a full calendar—but lacked traction. After applying the “Which goal will this activity achieve?” filter, they:
- Cut 12 hours of unnecessary meetings
- Re-aligned their weekly agenda to their 12-month profit targets
- Grew net profit by 16% in 90 days
All because they asked the right question.
1. Start every day or week by reviewing your goals
2. Before accepting or starting any task, ask: “Which goal will this activity achieve?”
3. Eliminate anything that doesn’t align
4. Redirect effort into high-impact work
